Bominae

Spiders in this subfamily are tiny to small ambush hunters in foliage. Some are rather drab. They have laterigrade legs, capable of moving them sideways like a crab. They do not have true claw tufts. Eyes are sometimes encircled by a ring of white pigment. Bominae lack strong spines on the legs and their eyes are in three rows 2 2 4. Only Bomis and Corynethrix are known from Australia.
