Corasoides

The Corasoides type species Corasoides australis was named by Butler in 1929 for the most widespread and common species found in coastal and hinterlands in all Australian States and territories and PNG. In 2017 Margaret Humphrey revised the genus and added nine new species. She notesCorasoides can be distinguished behaviourally from Nanocambridgea, Cambridgea and Baiami by its horizontal platform web structure and mode of moving on the upper surface of the platform. Morphologically it can be separated from those genera by its distinct abdominal patterns.
