Clubiona sp. near C. elaphines North Stradbroke island

A medium to large spider, females to 20mm, likely to be widespread throughout most habitats in eastern Australia from beaches to deserts. Usually found in silken retreats in foliage during the day, some also have retreats under bark. Many similar species may be hard to separate by visible features. ♀ 20mm ♂ 15mm
