Namea dahmsi

Namea dahmsi is a widespread species in south-eastern Queensland recorded from open forest and dry rainforest habitats, in lowlands and uplands, collected from Mount Nebo, Enoggera Reservoir and Clear Mountain. One of the few Namea species from open dry sclerophyll forest as well as dry rainforest and riparian habitats. Generally rare and sparsely distributed throughout its range. Large and strongly built. Females and juveniles characterised by a dark body colouration, reflective gold carapace hairs, and red legs.
